Public Service Announcement

A warning to all! Please learn from our story so you can avoid possible serious injury. Tween, half frazzled from the excitement of spending the day at the water park with her BFF was not in an attentive state of mind. She had just returned from golfing with her father and was a little heat exhausted and common sense deprived. I had just grabbed by keys and pushed the garage door button. Tween WALKING in front of me WHILE TEXTING manages to face plant the rising garage door. I hear the house shake and see the garage door vibrating. Scared to look at her face and the damage that I pictured there I hear a little voice say "I'm okay mom." I then register what I thought was Tween wailing in pain was her actually laughing hysterically. She had managed to only make contact with the bottom weather strip on the garage door.

Lessons to be learned by all this: Don't walk while under the influence of texting... Don't text while walking through doors.... AND Lastly have a camera rolling at all times, because it was a total youtube moment.
